Info about Jackie's wedding album below

So I am still trying to figure this out and now have to post about the pictures in the previous post here! The album is of my good friend Jackie's wedding and features pictures of her and special friends who were her bridesmaids, plus the flower girls and groom obviously! Since the base paper for the book had a lot of blue in it, I decided to go for black and white photos. When I got home with the pictures, I discovered that there was also quite a lot of brown in the patterned paper and that maybe sepia pictures would have looked best. I therefore hand distressed each photo with brown distressing ink (Tim Holtz Old Paper)and loved the uneven colouring, but was not so sure about the odd fingerprint that appeared in the ink! If you look carefully, you will see that I added clear Stickles to all the areas where the bride, chief bridesmaid Bronwyn and the other bridesmaids were wearing diamante accessories. This really added some sparkle to the album. Under the picture of the two bridesmaids there is a sticker saying something like " A lady should be two things: classy and fabulous" - Coco Chanel. Next to the groom there is a sticker saying :Love this boy" etc. The stickers co-ordinated with the paper. I also used a few MME brads. Thanks for looking!

Cards from July 2013

These are the cards I made on Saturday

Hi all. These are the cards I completed on Saturday with my new phrase stamps. Really loving them. It is hard to see, but I put clear Sticles over the top of the word Sparkle and also Live and Dream. Looks stunning when you tilt it towards the light.

Let's give this a try!

Hello everyone! I wanted to call my blog One of a Kind, but that is already taken, so this picture will have to do. I am an avid crafter. I can mosaic, love to scrapbook mini albums and make cards. I am a 37 year old Christain lady, married for almost ten years now! Love my hubby dearly! I am new to this blogging thing, so am just trying it out!
